Loch Awe Area:
For those keen on wildlife photography, Ardabhaigh is next
to 25 acres of lochside woods, where you can enjoy the Loch
Visions Experience, where with expert guidance, you
can photograph some remarkable wildlife, using specialist
equipment and technology provided.
There is a Country Inn half a mile from
Ardabhaigh and two hotels within two miles.
Surrounded by hills, mountains and
woodlands on all sides, Loch Awe has fascinating islands
and ruined castles waiting to be explored. Boats are
readily available for hire, nearby. From Oban, only thirty
minutes away by car, ferry routes serve Mull, lona,
Staffa, Lismore, Jura, Gigha and the islands beyond,
whilst, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Ben Nevis and Loch Ness
await your visit.
The immediate area is particularly
suited to hillwalking and cycling, fishing (river, loch
and sea), and golf (Courses at Taynuilt, Dalmally, Oban
and Inveraray).

B845 for 6 miles, at Kilchrenan Inn turn right, turn right
again at the Dalavich signpost to small bridge and steep
hill, turn left after white iron fence onto private road,
after 300 yards Ardabhaigh is the second house on the
left.
